- Holland Farmers Market Opening May 16!

On Wednesday, May 16, the Holland Farmers Market at the Eighth Street Market Place in Downtown Holland will open for the 2012 season. The Market features over fifty local vendors selling everything from fresh fruits and vegetables to plants, baked goods, floral arrangements, dairy products, and more beginning at 8:00 am every Wednesday and Saturday. The Holland Farmers Market also features a food court with dining options for breakfast and lunch, as well as street performers who entertain the crowds with music, magic, and more.
A variety of hothouse or greenhouse grown produce will be available for sale when the Market first opens, including cucumbers, spring salad greens, arugula, green onions, tomatoes, and zucchini. Spring produce such as asparagus, radishes, and rhubarb will also be available, though the highly unpredictable spring weather the region has experienced may affect what produce is actually available…Read More
