This special, temporary exhibit will be shown in the 1st floor Wichers Gallery from Jan 26 April 6, 2008. The thirty-nine prints by some of Japan¹s most renowned Sosaku artists represent a modernist print movement that was an expression of Japanese artistic feeling as it began looking to Western influences. All woodcut prints come from the private collection of a Holland family that lived in Japan from 1953-1973.
