Farmers Market Kids Activities: A Healthy Dye It (Session One)

The staff at the Holland Area Arts Council is at it again! This time, they will explain how vegetables like spinach, onion, and carrot contain natural dyes that can be used for dying fabric and a host of other materials. Children will get to use vegetable pigments to make their own piece of colorful cloth to take home.
The Big Read Bus will visit the Farmers Market from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with great books for fun summer reading!
