Farmers Market Kids Activities: What’s Hiding in Your Favorite Foods? (Session One)

Lori Hertel and the staff from Hope College’s Science Museum will help your children measure how much fat and sugar are in their favorite snack foods. Your children will learn how eating a variety of bright and colorful fruits and vegetables can be both fun and healthy, and will get to plant a fruit or vegetable seed to grow their own snack!
The Big Read Bus will visit the Farmers Market from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with great books for fun summer reading!
