The arts heat up in Holland this summer as the Holland Recreation Division once again presents FREE family entertainment throughout the summer months. Music in the Park features a wide variety of quality family performances located in the gazebo in Centennial Park from Noon to 1 PM starting Friday, June 13 and will run every other week.
This week’s featured artist’s are the Gemini –Twin brothers, Laz and San. They write and play acoustic music for children and families, celebrating the fun, warmth, and humor of family life. Their recordings and concerts are filled with rousing sing-alongs, folk tales, and music from around the world. The brothers also play more than a dozen instruments – guitar, fiddle, mandolin, pennywhistle, harmonica, slide whistles, South American pan pipes, Native American flute and percussion instruments such as the Appalachian limberjack, spoons, tambourine, African shakers and the “bones”.
