The mission of the Macatawa Greenway Partnership is to preserve and connect open and green spaces, streams, and natural lands to create greenway corridors to benefit people and wildlife in the Greater Holland/Zeeland area,
developing recreational opportunities along these greenway corridors where appropriate.

The Greenway also hosts free paddle trips on the Black River in-season.
