Winter in Holland
Winter Wonderland
Got the winter doldrums? Holland has the relief you need. Stroll our downtown streets with ease—our snowmelt system makes sure snow stays on the trees, rooftops, and hillsides where it belongs. Venture in and out of doors for the downtown Gallery Walk. Or keep warm inside the Holland Museum as you take in the spectacular collection of 17th, 18th, and 19th century art and furniture in the Dutch Galleries.
Need to get active? You can toboggan down the slope of historic Van Raalte Farm, snowshoe your way around Riley Woods, and double-pole through DeGraaf Nature Center. Or grab your skates and take a spin on Holland’s new ice rink at Riverview Park. Call Teusink’s Pony farm to reserve a sleighride for your friends and family. Head inside for summer-like fun at the Holland Community Aquatic Center. You and the family can enjoy the indoor water playground and 50-meter swimming pool.
Friendly gatherings await you at our local pubs, several of which brew their own beer. And many of our restaurants have award-winning wine lists, with monthly tastings and other culinary events. Live music is often available on weekends.
So pack your parka, grab your Gor-Tex®, and head to Holland, Michigan, where there’s never a dull winter moment.
